WFH Day #89

THURSDAY

An interesting day at work, starting with a Teams meeting to discuss the safe "return to team sport". Current local Coronavirus restrictions mean that gatherings over 30 people are not advised so matches involving two teams of eleven players, officials and a couple of spectators will not be supported. Five a side teams without followers might just get by.

A webinar and a further Teams meeting this afternoon.

I took a couple of breaks including a walk down the lane to my butterfly corner where I managed to photograph a peacock, red admiral and gatekeeper. I also spotted this little grasshopper.

A 3 km walk this evening before cooking dinner - pasta with fried capers, tomatoes and tuna.

A news announcement from Matt Hancock later this evening indicates that, from midnight, we can no longer invite people from other households indoors. Lots of speculation as to what the restrictions might actually be - the devil will be in the detail once the regulations are published - probably tomorrow.
