I headed over to Ali’s for the day to discuss some chunky things on our to-do list. It was much more productive than to try and cover the same topics by email or even by Skype. It was also a joy to be largely away from the laptop all day. In the evening we went to one of the nature reserves in the middle of the sprawling housing estate, and carried on talking and snacking. It wasn’t half bad as Thursdays go.
