Final Inspection

Head Judge for Team Canada Geese, Gloria Ganderbilt, and some of her fellow judges made a final inspection of the water venue at Pacific Northwest Stadium today in preparation for the opening of the Alternate Olympic Games tomorrow.   Gloria was not happy with the water quality.  There's some sort of scum or algae on the water which seems to be not only quite unattractive but difficult to swim through.  Team Osprey has also expressed concern that line-of-sight to the catfish is restricted.  After several fly-bys they moved on without an attempt at fishing.  Fortunately there have been no complaints from Team Catfish. Officials hope that a vigorous tide will flush out the crud soon.

In other news unrelated to the AOGs, Lizzie is headed for the vet tomorrow for a manicure and a checkup.  She's been acting weird lately and has become very, very picky about what she'll eat.  A bag full of various flavors of Fancy Feast canned food, purchased when she indicated approval but now shuns, will be donated to the animal shelter.  I keep hoping that one day I'll understand the mind of a cat but I probably shouldn't hold my breath.
