In Transit.

En route home from a wonderful afternoon with the family.
We had a picnic in the local park.
Great to actually see the grandchildren, our son and his wife after 4 months.
They don’t post photos of the children on social media.
At the moment we are at our favourite motorway services having had our tea.
On the way down to Bristol this morning we met two of our friends at the southbound services and it was so good to see them too!
One of them being Thierry who hosts our two-weekly French conversation sessions on Zoom since Lockdown began and I couldn’t host everyone at our home.
I’ll attach a photo in extras which Stephen took of me just sitting for a few minutes of catchup at their table.
Then it was back to donning the masks and going our separate ways.
Now we have another hour and a half journey.
But lots of photos and memories made.
