Garden Treasures

I went to a favorite garden today, that is usually well tended by a large group of volunteers who meet weekly to pull weeds, deadhead, and chat with like-minded gardeners.  This year is different, as is so much.  Due to the pandemic, the garden has been left to grow whatever which way, to the point where the path is almost hidden in spots.  The birds, butterflies and bees still know how to make their way around, and there were plenty there today.  This goldfinch is one of the first I spotted.
