Dudmaston Hall

A Shropshire estate and country house in the care of the National Trust. The grounds are open by timed appointment only. The 17th Century house is still closed. Lovely walks through the woods and along the banks of the lake where there were plenty of damsels and dragons. The white lavender in the foreground was very popular with the bees. The lake is imaginatively called 'Big Pool'.
