Cactus Spines

Liked the 'hairy' bits at the base of the spines on this Cactus, you can even see the small openings where the plant tacks in air and expels CO2.
Posted on my Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/PhilipCharlesRider) in colour but think it works better in Black & White.
Taken on a Fuji X-1Pro with 35mm.
