Cave paintings?

After struggling through the darkness, hands against the cold, wet, rough wall, and a small amount of light from a flickering torch, at last I came across some art inscribed in the dirt.
Not quite the mammoths or sabre-toothed tigers, I expected, but that's what you get when you're killing time waiting for a bus outside a primary school...
