Poppies at the turning point.

Sunday afternoon walk on the Old Course at St. Andrews. Just the two of us today. We usually turn around here, it’s where the Course meets the Eden Estuary Nature Reserve; the mudflats were covered at high tide. The poppies mean St. Andrews to me. I learned as child there’s no point in picking them, they die so quickly. Best enjoy them in situ.

We walked around the local field path and loch this morning. No butterfly photos today.

Read a bit and listened to podcasts. And enjoyed what we have. Curry outside this early evening - not overly warm, sun nipped behind clouds.

31new cases in Scotland today. At least 13 associated with a pub in Aberdeen....... Another zero deaths day.

Family are well; older son and fiancé made decisions to leave a busy location - good Covid-19 action. And later they walked across the Forth Road Bridge - good air circulation there!
