Cabin Lift

Spent a lovely afternoon in Blackpool.  This time we explored the North Shore and came across this gem.  Built in 1930, the Cabin Lift is a Grade 2 Listed Building.  Externally it looks much the same as it did in its heyday. It once ferried holiday makers up and down to save them the steep climb from the upper to lower promenade. Regretfully it is no longer in use.
At the southern end of the promenade I spotted this piece of graffiti (see extra) - I'm no fan, but this made me smile,,,:-)
