Ribblehead Viaduct

We met a couple of Deb's friends from Lancashire at Ribbllehead Viaduct and walked over Whernside. At 2415 feet, it makes up one of the Yorkshire "three peaks" round. The weather was pretty wet, but visibility cleared periodically to give us interesting views up the mountain. The sun properly came out and the skies cleared once we were well on the way down (typical) My favourite shot of the day was later in the afternoon - as we passed the viaduct, with the dry stone walls in the foreground and the tree framed by one of the huge arches of the viaduct.
