Ringing and swinging

Our Maine Bell, one sounds like a bell buoy in San Francisco Harbor is ringing and swinging in the increasing winds this afternoon. It was a gift from T's niece, we love hearing it and we surely can today.

We're under a tropical storm warning until tomorrow morning and a tornado watch this afternoon and evening! Tropical Storm Isaias is ripping up the East Coast at a fast speed. Our friends in North Carolina are cleaning up, no significant damage, thankfully for them. We've battened down the hatches as they say here in New England. We're experiencing increasing winds at the moment, but nothing really scary. Power outages from heavily leafed trees being blown over are to be expected. Hopefully I will have power to blip tomorrow, if not it could be my first backblip after more than 10 years posting every day.

We're supposed to walk through the woods after dinner for ice cream and homemade chocolate birthday cake. Made by Nora(with blue frosting as her choice) and her Mimi to celebrate Nora's dad, David on his birthday. We shall see, no party on their deck I suspect if it's pouring.

We hope for rain, but I suspect this is mostly a wind event for us.

For the Record,
This day came in hot and humid with severe storm watches until early tomorrow morning.

All hands wary
