Well it's better than Muriel!

Fun Friday...definitely busy Friday though! Very glad I opted not to stay around for the event last night.

Left the flat at 7.55am...arrived back somewhere after 8pm. Started in East Lothian (ish), in to the city, out to Midlothian, in to the city, out to Midlothian, in to the city and finally back out to East Lothian (ish). Phew! Thankfully the in/out in the middle was in the other support worker's car.

First up was casual worker group supervision...which ended up just being me and the CSW manager, but nevermind. Being solo supervision meant it was much quicker, felt more like actual supervision and allowed me more time to get to my next thing (and breathe!).

On to my (now almost regular) Friday afternoon shift...this time taking a trip to Camera Obscura. One of those shifts that absolutely makes it all worthwhile... :) So many smiles, that laugh that seems to fill the room, lunch pack all eaten and basically no tears. Sure brought a smile to our faces, too!

Finally off to Starbucks for Rainbows planning meeting as there was no UOs on tonight. Lovely and productive session :)

Safe to say by the end of the day I was very grateful to see that the kitchen cleaning fairy (in this case going by the name of Fee) had been at work...as that was one task that I was struggling to warm myself up to on the way back! So just enough time to sit down quietly with a cup-a-soup and toast, update blip and get ready for the final agenda item of the day...bed!
