Terrible news from Beirut. The footage of the shockwave is incredible. Reminds me of reports of the blitz in London during WWII. They would find buses full of people, all dead near a bomb blast, but without a mark on them. It was the shock wave that killed them, they called it 'blast lung' .

They are talking about 300,000 homeless - and the hospital was destroyed. And all this along with covid. Talk about a perfect storm.

Trump leaps in and says it was a bomb attack. Helpful (not).
