Wide Wednesday: Heavy Metal

We spent the morning putting a coat of the paint we've used in the living room on one of the dining room walls.

This afternoon we went for a walk across the fields. Thought the pylons we passed made a suitable subject for today's theme.

The main excitement today was that Tess was able to apply for her state pension, due when she has a certain birthday in December. She's been most miffed ever since they changed her age of eligibility first from 60, then by a further year. She's keen to get in quick before Boris & Rishi put it back again!
