From old to new

In the morning we took some of the O.A.P.s to a new paddock along the lane. They range in age from 22yrs to 27yrs, so not actually the oldest swingers in town as we have 3 other horses aged 27yrs to 33yrs, but they have other paddocks. These 3 have been next to each other, but this is the first time Torchy ( in the blue flymask ) has been allowed with DJ and Toby without an electric fence between them. They didn’t seem to notice the difference, only the excitement of new pastures. Torchy had a little canter and a buck to celebrate, the other two felt compelled to trot behind him, but soon gave up and tucked in!

After work I visited the farm to see how little Freddie was doing. He was having a nap!

No riding for me this week as both the boys are still off work and Emma wanted to school little Libby in the field, meaning Roxy got the day off. Fingers crossed for next week.
