AOG2020 - day 5

Leo was spotted desperately swimming toward the rock wall surround the high dive venue. He scaled the wall but couldn't get to dry ground.

The fast thinking first responder team came up with a plan. (of course after grabbing the camera). After a half an hour of patiently calming Leo's fears and coaxing him out on to the rescue board, (a handy garden kneeler) he sat drying off. Turning toward the camera, he nodded his thanks and scurried away, as far from the water as possible.

I am grateful a tragedy was avoided by the clear thinking first responder. The patience it took to complete this rescue was more than she has shown in a very long time.
