Venturing out

These two young Blackbirds were just venturing out from the undergrowth, where they have spent most of their time since they left the nest. I couldn't move any branches or get any nearer, as they very quickly skittered back to where they had come from, but it is so rare to see them out in the open that I had to record it. 

I am just wondering how many broods the two Blackbirds have had, they seem to have been nesting for a long time. No wonder they demand to be fed every morning.
