Dillenburg
Today we were in Dillenburg. As a Dutchman you must have been here once.
Dillenburg was the headquarter of the Orange branch of the Nassau family.
William of Orange, born in Dillenburg, organized the Dutch resistance to Spain (1567–1572) from exile in the castle, which still connects the Dutch royal family with the city today.
