Garden....

starting to look at least a little like a garden. There are a few small patches of colour. We will spread the seeds this year and hopefully have even more next year.
Picked some small turnips, beetroots and potatoes which we had roasted with yesterday's leftover quiche.
Baked a rhubarb crumble cake, extra photo. I'd not made one before but it turned out ok. Thought I might try it with gooseberries another time as we have plenty of those in the freezer!
Had a chat with my daughter on the phone, which was lovely. She is going to visit my mum tomorrow to help her fill out some forms and do some shopping with her. Mum will be very pleased to spend time with her.
