Our paddle didn't happen, not just because of the rain, we have rain gear and have paddled in the rain many times.  I found out last night a very close friend who now lives in California, and has been very sick this last year, was in town for the day.  She was in their RV and we sat under the awning outside at the RV park and visited for three hours.  So good to see her in person.
