Waiting out the storm

First, I was outside, trying to take a photo of the wild weather. The snow is coming down heavy, wind is blowing, and it's freezing. That didn't work. I came inside, and we poured a glass of wine, and watched a movie.
As I was sitting on the sofa, looking at the glow of the fireplace, I had to look no further.
I thought how fortunate we are, to be inside and warm. The flowers were given to me from my husband, to celebrate our anniversary. It is a perfect setting for a cold, winter night.
