A Tiny Garden in NE Wales

By aTinyGarden

The Box!

We built the box a couple of years ago on what was a mound of scrub. The area just above the box where R is standing houses our Septic tank.

The plants in the Box have been amazing this year and it was time to chop back the red Valerian and the Ox-eye daisies, encouraging a second flush of bloom.

I also cut the foxglove spikes and upended them into an envelope, separate envelopes for the different colours. I now have a million seeds!

We don't have a heatwave of biblical temperatures here in North Wales, But the blanket of cloud we are stuck under has meant it is unbearably muggy. Gardening in it ones with its own challenges, sweaty face and glasses sliding down my nose!

Extra is the before photo.
