It's dark again!

First holiday job: Done!

I changed the bedroom's roller shutters belt right after coming home from work. It was a bit tricky. The old wooden shutters are heavy and I could have used a third hand. But I worked with knots and trial and error (lol) and it's done now. The house is 70 years old and I think the dust of at least 50 years was behind the cover I had to loosen (12 screws) to get to the inside of the thing.
But feels good, now that it's done. And will keep the heat out (major reason for replacing the old belt, which was just about ready to rip - couldn't let the shutters down anymore); we're in the middle of a heat wave and strong wooden shutters on the outside are much better than anything else.
