Green Woodpecker

Woken up by a woodpecker this morning. Noisy!

N spotted it in the neighbour’s tree.

This morning I went to see my friend with the puppy (L was going to come but we had such a battle over breakfast that I left her behind with N). This afternoon L and I had a playdate with friends... who were actually our last pre-lockdown playdate. We had smoothies and ice creams and played in their paddling pool... just what we needed with these 35 degree temperatures.
