Flocks of Flying Birds

Sitting on a bench in the shade watching the fishing boats, we saw huge swarms of black birds crossing the sky. I couldn't identify them, but it could have been Starlings. They are well known for their murmurations. It was an amazing sight!  There were hundreds of them crossing the sky like flying clouds!
