Everyday I Write The Book

Please ...

... don’t leave your dog in the car on a hot day. With a scarf. Even if it is a toy one and the car has no roof...

Saw this as I walked across Horsell Moor to the Heather Farm Cafe. Spent two hours there with Mr B and TSM. Lost count of the number of coffees and lemonades we got through. Very nice way to spend a Saturday morning.

Came home to find the house covered in feathers and a rather distressed pigeon that Dylan had pulled through the catflap and then got bored with. I managed to pick it up and return it to the trees at the bottom of the road. Considering the scene of carnage it was in surprisingly good health.

The heat was into the mid thirties today but we got the jet washer out and cleaned the patio, which was cool. TSM then cut my hair and then we had a very long FaceTime with TGR. By now The Dizzle and Mystic Em were home so we sat in the garden as it slowly cooled down and had take aways. Finally joined by Strider early evening, hot from work, so all in all a very sociable day.

No toy dogs were hurt in the making of this blip.
