Speed Bonnie Boat

A day out in Glasgow! A train to Glasgow Central and then on the subway. Always a thrill for a small town boy. And then to the new Transport Museum which was pretty excellent, apart from having too many of the exhibits half way up walls. What's that about? (OK, it's probably just a lack of floor space). There was my old 2CV, resplendent and red, away up there at rooftop height!
And there's a fine big sailing vessel - the Glenlee, moored alongside. You can tread the decks and pretend to be the Mate. After that, back down town for some linguine and scoosh. I could have down without an ex-works social evening which had been arranged weeks ago, back in Embra, but I showed face. And sipped a pint of something unattractive called Heineken.
Richt, things to do; and must catch up with some blippers too, but first, the Saturday morning papers.
