Terry’s chocolate factory.

Tonight we walked in the area around York race course, otherwise known as the Knavesmire. Plenty of ball chasing for me, it was cooler this evening, so Darren didn’t mind me doing a lot of running about. We again had a walk over to middlethorpe hall, and then on way back to car we walked past the racecourse concourse. Next to the racecourse, is the former Terry’s chocolate factory, this is an iconic building in York and was the birthplace of the chocolate orange, also produced here was Terry’s All Gold. Production stopped in 2005 when The company was bought. The building as now been converted in to luxury apartments, it’s still an impressive building, though not as lively as it was when it was known as the chocolate factory.
