Paella

Have made a task for myself - cooked a vegetarian paella to go alongside my friend's full chicken & seafood traditional version for a birthday gathering on Thursday.  Have now been invited to cook another for Tuesday - no special reason but there has been talk of keeping up with outdoor social dining (and drinking) through to winter including talk of the purchasing of ski suits,  a circle of fire pits and seasonal fare to match the change of temperature - think soups,  hearty stews and hot toddies.
Cooked Paella for myself today, sat out on my 2nd floor deck enjoying the sea breeze, not cooling but just stirring the warm air around - an improvement on the still humidity of the last few days and to complete the pleasure of it all somebody not too far away had a playlist of just the most perfect Sunday afternoon electric guitar jazz music - no idea who but think George Benson-ish?
