On The Look Out

This Goldfinch was pecking away at the nyger seed in the feeder, when something must have disturbed him. He turned in the direction of whatever he had heard or seen, and kept perfectly still and STATIONARY until he decided it was safe to continue with his mid-morning snack.
Thank you to Chantler63 for hosting today's Mono Monday challenge with the theme of Stationary/Stationery.  This was a lucky shot as I had planned to choose the second option, until I spotted the Goldfinch and watched him for a while.
