Coin update

The studio is lovely and cool so I escaped from the heat this afternoon for some more feathery frolics. I also took another shot of the tail side of the Roman Coin. This was the key piece that helped our friend Dave identify the head as Constantine II. The rear of the coin has two soldiers standing either side of a central standard. The soldier on the left is the most clear, you can see his arm is around his spear and his legs are slightly bent at the knee. Once you see him you can probably see the spear held by the soldier on the other side. Of course it helps that I now have the coin the right way up! Dave politely pointed out that it was upside down in the other image. Thanks for all your help Dave. And a massive thanks to Gareth for his eagle eyes in spotting it in the first place.
