Space Window

This is a copy of the stained glass window in Washington Cathedral - a dramatic example of the fact that stained glass can eork in a modern idiom as well as the more familiar traditional style.

In the real window, there is a tiny piece of the actual moon rock embedded at the centre.

This panel was brought back as a gift for me from a kind friend who knew that a space oriented stained glass window would tick a couple of big boxes for me.

It hangs in my small hall window facing west. Must try & photograph it with the sun shining through.
