Woodland path

I'm enjoying this switch to mono for a few days. All that green gets a bit much after a while!

Mrs P and I paused to pick up some litter and were puzzled by a steady crackling sound all around us. It was gorse seed pods bursting in the sunshine. Neither of us had ever heard that before. My extra is a couple of pods - one open and one ready to burst.
