Just too lovely to miss!

I've a feeling that - like yesterday's shot - I have posted mahonia blooms before. Today I was determined to get some garden jobs done and, as is evident, was out there in the rain raking up leaves from beneath this and other shrubs in the lower garden. The light glistening on the wet buds and the single drop of rain balanced on the leaf sent me indoors for my camera. (Usually at this point I either get outside again to discover the rain has blown off or I knock a branch as I move in for the shot!)
