Happy anniversary

22 years ago today Roland I were married. Register office do, with the reception at the home of some of our friends. Everyone brought food, drink and a few light recreational drugs to contribute to the celebrations and our - chocolate - wedding cake was baked by a 6-year old.

Gifts included a half-used Amsterdam multi-journey travel ticket, someone taking the photos for us, someone else looking after our cats whilst we were in Amsterdam for a few days, as well as several items of useful 'stuff'.

Today has been lovely. Leisurely breakfast followed by a stroll in clear, almost warm, weather and dropping into Take5 where he had a coffee and I had a beer.

We can't - and don't need to - buy flowers or exchange expensive trinkets but I couldn't resist taking a photo of these roses which were for sale on one of the market stalls. They are for both of us. Because we're worth it.
