Sun shining at ......

..... 7.45am!
I love the way the sun has given this sunflower a two tone colour on the petals.
I did my ironing first thing , nearly wilted . Since when I've done very little, needed to post a letter so also had a short drive thinking I would find shade ( not to be ) but it was a quiet spot so I managed to do some neglected reading . Came home for a cuppa , it's 6.40pm and just no sign of any cool air ( or badly needed rain) I will just have to give the plants a little water . But it's an effort .

Grateful ..... for the over worked fan!
