Mud Child

A lovely, hot day today. My eldest was hanging out with friends so I took the young’un down to the lake for a swim.

She didn’t swim much but she occupied herself for quite a considerable length of time with the task of making a mud pie on the shore. She then used stones, twigs & grass to make a rather fetching self-portrait. It was a lovely afternoon, which was very well spent.
