Just about right

This is a very accurate depiction of a day in the life of a Leo!

At least footie training has started back up so there will be a bit of exercise thrown into the mix now. Leo said he is so glad he is a goalie as when everyone else is suffering in their first few games with all that running around, he can have a less energetic time between the goalposts! It is true he won’t be running much but I think he’ll be in for a busy time. We were heading for relegation as we kept getting thumped last season and that would have been a fair reflection of were the team are at and would also have made for less dispiriting games.  But as the league was cancelled we have to do it all over again! So we still have to face the selective teams who take it all very seriously, with our lot who are almost all kids from the same school and community where everyone gets a turn.  Ah well, at least Leo won’t be bored in goal!  And you never know, perhaps the enforced break will mix everything up a bit.
