Capturing my Journey

Mammatus clouds

In the tail end of the thunderstorm. Awoke a 5am to distant rumbles checked out the lightening map and weather forecast to see we were on Amber alert for thunderstorm. By 6 it was close enough to upset the dogs (Pip and Rusty are the most anxious about it) so time for a cup of tea and cuddles. Lots of lightening lots of thunder and heavy rain until 8.30.when I thought it was pretty much passed. So took the dogs out. Still some rumbling so just a short walk. Thankfully the dogs when spooked run to me. An hour later and it was like the extra and getting hot. I helped husband bring in all the cows and take off the bull and a bullock friend for him and put them in their own field. We also made an area for the pet calves to get outside. They were very cute and excited about it.
