Second flush

It is good to see the roses beginning to bloom again. They have had a rest after their tremendous show in June.
We are still waiting for rain. Thunderstorms were forecast, and thunder rolled around in the distance and then went away again. It could still happen overnight, that would be good. Meanwhile the seed head in my extra sums up how I feel about my garden!
