Maisie

After a night of thunderstorms & torrential rain I left early to visit my sister 25 miles away, listening to the news en route - flooding, power outages, disruption and then later news of the tragic train derailment in Aberdeenshire.

Journey was fine along the M9 but lots of flooding where she lives including a torrent down her street where a stream had burst its banks. I parked a distance away (on the advice of 2 firemen) and waded ankle-deep to her house!
