Blooming heather

Off to the surgery this morning for my annual blood pressure review. A little bit of a wait beforehand, very pleasant standing outside in glorious sunshine. 'Not sure how this is going to work in winter', remarked the nurse. She has a point! Passed Elaine on the way back home, and we stopped for a socially distanced chat on the street corner - once upon a time we used to meet at Tai Chi and at singing.

Perfect weather for garden yoga this afternoon, and three of us enjoyed a 2-hour session - should have been 90 minutes but Margaret got a bit carried away...
Another chat on the same street corner on the way home, before Christine and I went our different ways.

Slightly disconcerting on getting home to discover that, in the meantime, MrM had gone out in the car and left the door unlocked! At least the outside gate was locked. No idea what time he'd be back, and no way of finding out as he'd left his mobile phone behind! Salad for our evening meal then - ready for when he eventually returned from a walk in the woods near Ross Castle. He brought with him a bunch of heather, in full bloom.
