The Lozarithm Lens

Abstract Thursday (Thursday 13th August 2020)

The theme of Weather seemed very appropriate this very hot and humid week that has stifled all activity - for me, at any rate. The shade temperature at the Old Forge reached 30 degrees yesterday and the occasional thunderstorm did not relieve the humidity or even refill the water-butts. Whereas in countries used to the heat, curtains are drawn shut to preserve indoor cool, over here we throw everything open to exalt in the light even as we melt. Then again, keeping these kitchen curtains drawn hasn't had the desired effect today.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Stick In The Wheel - Villon Song (2020)
This is the most startlingly original piece of music I have found in a while. Stick In The Wheel are a weird folk duo comprising Nicola Kearey and Ian Carter, and this comes from the forthcoming Hold Fast album. I have playing this track on repeat.
