Hydroponics Next Year

It rained last night. It rained a-lot, in a short space of time. The clay soil had been rock hard and was unyielding when the rain arrived.  So, veg patch under water.  Lake in the garden (see extra pic).  Guests are being pragmatic, but have gone out for the day.  Its starting to recede.  Walked Elvis, who loved the puddles and thought the whole ‘tons of water’ thing was perfect.  On the way back, the rainbow appeared (see other extra pic). Trying to find the pot of gold at its end.  Still looking.
