A Silent Companion

I thought it was about time for some exploration of Arnside Knott.  I climbed up to the viewpoint and tried to spot our house on the hillside across the estuary in Grange while I cooled down a little in the shade.  I then walked on up to the trig point and followed a traversing path above some steep ground to the east from where I took the extra picture of Arnside Tower (Knottman will know the exact spot I took it from!).  Walking back across the top through the woods I became aware that I was being watched by this roe deer.  I guess the deer up there must be so used to seeing people that they do not get spooked as easily as most deer.
