Pretty sure this heron came and posed just for me today! I'd gone down to the park and thought I would see if I could see any damselflies in the wetland part as my friend had seen a lot yesterday. They obviously prefer the sunny weather so I was deciding whether to go onto the river or just turn back at the entrance to cycle up the road. I decided to go to the river. Just as I got there the heron arrived posing nicely and just as I turned to put my camera away he flew off!
