The South African and the Aussie

The South African, phylica pubescens (flannel flower) is foreground and the Aussie leucodendron Julie in the background. Another Aussie hovers at ground level in the middle grevillea Mt Tamborthia.

Phylica pubescens is happy and flowering. It's only been living with me less than 6 months.

Today's gratitude: For contrast. A week ago my time in the garden was fraught with what appeared to be Jasper's further decline. This Sunday is so different and I'm immensely grateful.
