The Love of Gardening ...

The love of gardening is a seed sown once that never dies so said Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932) and is the inscription on this lovely plaque which was a generous gift from my dear friend and neighbour C! The plaque is destined for the new part of the garden and I'm keeping it safely indoors until the weather improves.

Today it rained all day. It was quite mild, no wind and the rain was that drizzly stuff which is such a nuisance! I spent the day making jewellery and watching the rugby, Wales beat France and broke their run of lost games.
