Stitcher...

So you've slept in a tent in the living room over night with two squirmy after staying up a little past your bedtime finishing off another hat.

You get up, get breakfasted then number one offspring gets herself tentatively locked in the tent by zipping it up too far and pulling the zip off. It takes about half and hour to 45 minutes to get the zip back together without compromising the tent.

What's the next nippiest thing that could happen within 10 minutes?

Yes, the dulcet tones of offspring two reporting from the tent that he also had the same zip in his hand, detached from the tent.

That time it took me about and hour and a half to get it back in.

It was sewn in immediately this time.

Other than that, it was a rather nice creative day of island building, crocheting, cake and mini party arranging and knocking out a few more copies of my hat labels.

Watching this machine is fascinating. I drew the picture, scanned it and converted it into the embroidery software. Once the machine is set up, it has a wonderfully uncomplicated one button push and it rips away and stitches the picture, stitch by stitch in about 10 minutes.
